Eligibility Criteria

General Eligibility

Passed 10+2 / Higher Secondary or equivalent from any recognized Board in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026.
- Bengali Major – Must passed in Bengali.
- English Major – Must passed in English.
- Mathematics Major – Must passed in Mathematics.
- Physics Major – Must passed in Physics/Electronics.

Geology — Special Conditions

Must have passed Geology /Mathematics /Physics /Chemistry /Geography in 10+2.
Must be physically fit for fieldwork and polarized microscope lab work.
Vocational board candidates not allowed.

Commerce — Special Conditions

Passed in Commerce/Accountancy/Mathematics/Business math/Business Studies.
Vocational Business & Commerce students eligible for Commerce or Arts.

Reservation of Seats

Seats reserved for EWS, SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B and DA as per Govt. of West Bengal rules.
Certificate must be uploaded during online application.
SC/ST/OBC certificates from other states treated as General Category.
No candidate can claim more than one reservation quota.
