Research Guidance

At present, one faculty member of Kabi Jagadram Roy Government General Degree College is engaged in Ph.D. research supervision. Dr. Kalyan Mukherjee, Assistant Professor in the Department of Bengali, is currently guiding two research scholars in their respective areas of interest.

Dr. Kalyan Mukherjee, Department of Bengali, KJRGGDC has been involved as PhD supervisor since 2022. Currently Dr. Mukherjee is guiding two PhD scholars registered under Bankura University. Subjects of their research are ‘History and Journey of Visva Bharati, Shantiniketan” and “Existential Exigencies of people on 20th Century “. Dr. Mukherjee believes that friendly relationship with scholars and his devout cooperation can get the work done by his scholar in timely manner. His overall area of interests is Rabindra Nath Tagore, Baul and Lalan Fakir.
